The spat between Narinder Kaur and Thomas Skinner continues with Narinder Kaur posting to X: "Thomas Skinner is a fake". Narinder Kaur also brought up Mr Skinner's criminal past again.
The spat follows on from Kaur’s criticism of the BBC’s decision to cast Skinner on Strictly Come Dancing while rejecting her for being "too controversial".
Kaur, a former Big Brother contestant and TV personality, argued on X that the BBC exhibits bias by favouring "controversial" white men like Skinner while sidelining outspoken women of colour like herself.
Kaur suggested the BBC applies a double standard, only hiring “quiet brown and black women” who “fit in a box.”
Skinner responded on X, respecting Kaur’s right to her views but denying intent to divide, emphasizing his goal to inspire others. He acknowledged his past but expressed regret if he upset her, wishing her "peace, happiness, and a life you can truly enjoy".
Thomas Skinner is a fake. He didn't once speak out when he's fans racially abused me...
He has a criminal past and yet he's been given a green light.
