Diane Abbott MP has been suspended from the Labour Party for a second time, pending an investigation.
The suspension follows her comments in a BBC interview where she reiterated views on racism from a 2023 letter, which had previously led to a year-long suspension. In the interview, she stated she had no regrets about her earlier remarks, prompting the Labour Party to take action.
