Councillor Duncan Massey, Conservative councillor for the Lower Deeside ward on Aberdeen City Council, has defected to Reform UK.
It was announced today by Nigel Farage during a press conference in Aberdeen.
Massey cited Reform UK's vision for the oil and gas sector as a key reason for his switch, criticising mainstream parties for failing the industry.
